If you have always wanted to try watercolor, this is the class for you!   This class will introduce you to watercolor brushes, paper & paints.    A sponge will be used to add texture. You will complete some small paintings of Bonsai trees.

Here is the list of supplies:

• Watercolor paper 2.5′ x 3.5″ 140 lb. – Do not use 80/90 lb,
• Brushes
  • Size 4 round
  • Size 2 rigger (optional)
• Paints any two colors that make a grey/brown when mixed. I used:
  • Daniel Smith Quinacridone Purple DSW225-15
  • American Journey Sap Green
• Palette – white plastic plate can be used
• Water container – plastic cup
• Natural Sea Sponge – small, fine and heavily textured
